Belmont Theatre is an established multi-award winning resident theatre company which usually performs three times a year at The Pump House Theatre , Watford, Hertfordshire. The group rehearses in the Carpenders Park Community Hall.
Although an amateur company, run entirely by volunteers, we strive for excellence in all theatrical matters and perform a wide variety of productions (classic dramas, comedies and thrillers), which often sell out.
We cater for all levels of experience from beginners to professionals (unpaid). Besides the actors, an average production can need up to 30 people behind the scenes to put the production on so we always need new members with diverse skills.

They try various fund-raising schemes, but their most ambitious idea is to hold a talent extravaganza featuring local talent and a world-famous star who agrees to appear with no fee. Their plans go awry, and they try, manfully, to rectify !
