PARDON ME PRIME MINISTER
OCTOBER 28 – 31 2015 This is a traditional farce, quick-fire action, mistaken identities and chaos at No. 10 Downing Street on the eve of a puritanical budget. The readings and auditions are on the 9th and 11th June respectively and our auditions are open to anybody to attend. There are loads of parts, all ages, up for grabs and if you would like to attend then please contact michaelc76@outlook.com and we’ll send over more details. In addition to acting onstage there are many opportunities for people to get involved e.g. set building, lighting design, props etc. You will find us a very welcoming crowd. |
RELATIVE VALUES
Belmont Theatre Company has just completed a very successful week with our presentation of this Noel Coward classic and it went down well with our audiences. We were delighted that there were quite a few new faces onstage, as well as the established regulars, and the group trusts these newcomers will look upon this as the first of many plays with Belmont. The scenery is all down and stowed away, the Front of House boxes put away, costumes back in our store and now group members are looking forward to the next show. Of course we’ll take the opportunity of letting our hair down at the after-show party!!!!!

We especially need people with marketing skills to boost our publicity and raise the profile of the group and strong management/ administrative skills to keep us organised.....

Belmont is in the middle of a programme of imaginative workshops.
Our next one is a presentation on 'Musical Theatre' on Sunday afternoon
15 November 2015. We are also planning a lighting design and rigging workshop to be held in the Pump House Theatre itself, date to be announced.

PRACTICAL HELP
Belmont prides itself on its professional stage design and construction. The set for our recent drama 'Remembrance' is up for a prestigious NODA award as one of the most authentic and imaginative sets in the London Area. if you have carpentry or set design skills then please contact us . Know of any houses being stripped out? Then we are always looking for staircase balustrades, ornate wooden fireplaces, mirrors, pictures etc. The opportunities are endless.
