The next workshop is on 18th January and will be on how to capture an audience in 'Story telling' by the well known and professional story teller Jamie Crawford. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
A fun and entertaining workshop was organised by Belmont on Sunday afternoon in the Pump House - The Charles room. This time it was part of posture and movement on stage as we took part in a 'belly dancing' workshop. Dawn is our professional Belly dancer and our venue was full to the brim with colourful dresses and high spirit! Thank you Dawn.

Belmont Theatre would like to invite you to the reading and auditions for our forthcoming production “Remembrance” by Graham Reid. This is a warm drama set in Belfast during the time of the Troubles. There are male and female parts of differing ages. Although a Belfast accent is required, we are using the services of a professional dialect coach and this would be a great opportunity to work with someone who is involved in the professional film industry. The production will be directed by one of our most experienced directors, Frankie Hogan. The reading and casting will be totally open, which means that current members will not take precedence over potential members. We’d love to see you for the reading on 6th November and auditions on 11th November, both at Carpenders Park Community Centre, Station Footpath/Gibbs Couch Carpenders Park WD19 5EG. The Community Centre is right next to Carpenters Park Station. If you need any more information please contact [email protected] or by phone (evenings/weekends) 07890 485735. |
