Belmont Theatre were last night awarded 'Best Comedy' at the Barnet and District Drama Festival in which all but two of the entries were comedies - so that was no mean feat. Here the Director, Laurence Conway, is pictured with one of the stars of the show, Gillian Weinberg. Don't drop that award, Gillian. You might break it! 

' The best acting I have ever seen' said one regular theatregoer last night. ...and it was about our show, not some West End production. Just three performances to go. We are again delighted to be part of the Barnet & District Drama Festival for 2013 with our next show, Neil Simon's broadway comedy, 'California Suite'.  This prestigious Festival features productions from approx. ten leading amateur theatre groups based around the Barnet area (happily for us, Watford is considered near enough and it does encourage more people to see the show from outside of the immediate locality).
